My name is Jase Fern and i am the founder member and current secretary of the Army Surfriders Union (ASRU).
I am using this media to get in touch with you all and bring you news of the latest innovation in "core stability training"
Indo board are keen to get involved with my club but i see a huge benefit for all sports through this system and thought i should share the wealth as it were!
It not only trains core stability but also is great fun and addictive as anything (As those of you who were at the Army show will be only too aware!) There are even plans to use it in our Mess for Christmas fun and frolics!

What i am getting in touch for is to offer your Clubs a free demo when you have meets etc or events of any kind. Also if any of your members have Regimental events and need something extra that will keep the kids and adults entertained then i am sure i could set something up for you. I am doing a demo at a children's summer club in Aldershot next week.

I fully believe in this system as a great way of keeping fit and improving all round core stability.
Please feel free to visit the website - www.indoeurope.com and see what is on offer, i have also put some attachments on this email..

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me on 94222 2687

Warm regards,

Dear Indoeurope:
"The BSA have been using Indo Boards as part of their surf coaching programme for the last few years. They have been used at our surf school with beginner - improver level surfers and also for advanced surfers during British squad training sessions. We have found the Indo Boards to be an excellent form of balance trainer, as well as developing core strength and body stability. The boards are also great fun and are very popular with the surfers."
Hope that is ok for you........
I have just received the booklet and info pack from you, have not had time to read it yet but thanks for taking the time to post it etc.
Thanks again Adriano for your support
Cheers BAZ

Dear Indoeurope:

I would like to express our thanks on behalf of the BSA and the British junior team, in supplying us with the Indo Boards for training purposes.

The boards were used on the training day with the guys and we used them to help the guys with balance and core stability training. The team really enjoyed having a go on them and it proved valuable to me in assessing their ability in the areas of balance and core stability strength. Many of the guys had used the boards previously and so some were obviously better than others.

The guys will be heading off to compete at the junior world titles that start on the 6th May in Mareisias Beach, Brazil. We hope to have another short training day before their departure in which we will use the indo boards again and we will continue to use them in an ongoing basis with all our squads for juniors and seniors in the future.

"The Indo board has been used by the British Junior Surfing Team as a piece of highly valued training equipment, used for preparation for the forthcoming ISA Junior World Surfing Titles, scheduled for 6 May in Brazil. The boards are excellent for training and focussing the guys on their balance and core stability, it is also great fun while training!"

STAND UP PADDLE SURFING AND THE INDO BOARD

By Adam Zervas

Whether you are dreaming of doing an "Hawaiian style" paddle between islands, as they do in Polynesia, or a paddle at your local break - you are going to need a lot more fitness strength than you think. The Stand Up Paddle Board is exploding on to the market and is here to stay as part of our beach and ocean culture.

As a pro surfer and stand up paddle waterman I am very focused on how to achieve satisfaction on the paddleboard using the Indo Board as a perfect training tool. Living in the UK you need to make the most of every surfing opportunity offered and utilize bad weather days for strengthening you weaknesses and improving core strength.

As you head out on your stand up paddle surfboard for the first time remember, like most new sports, stand-up paddling should be undertaken in small steps. Overdoing it in the beginning pinpoint muscles you never knew existed. That is why the lack of preparation could hold you back. Every windy day or dark evening is an invitation to get your Indo Board Training Pack out and practice conditioning those muscles for the next paddle session.

For more expert surfers, operating at a higher level, the most effective way to stay in top shape is to focus not on just one muscle group, but rather on groups of muscles together. When you work on all the muscles together to develop connective strength, you can take on a greater range of sports with less risk of injury. Like Stand Up Paddle Surfing, Indo Boarding trains the whole body, not just one muscle at a time and it stretches and strengthens the critical athletic motions - rotational, side-to-side, and front-to back especially when using the IndoFlo cushion.

While at a trade show I met Hunter Joslin who is the Indo Board creator, and he ran through with me a basic workout routine on the Indo Board and Indo Flo cushion. When I cannot get near the water for a few days, I train with the basic routines. To be specific; squats, lunges, press-ups, wood chops, one leg stance etc.

I must admit that I have always been an Indo enthusiast, but since I have been Stand Up Paddle Boarding, I have used my Indo Board more than ever. The Indo Board is the closest thing to get the same sensation of balance as on the Stand Up Paddle board. My level of control on the Stand Up Board has been pushed to whole new level.

Indo Board should be part of every S.U.P kit!

Dear Indo Board,

I live in Solana Beach, California and saw your INDOBOARD at a surf contest. I immediately purchased one for my private physical therapy office. I have many rocker boards, and balance boards designed for the medical field but thought that the INDOBOARD was unique. I was impressed that it was less expensive than others I own and frankly it looked a lot more fun.

I use the INDOBOARD for a wide range of patients. I see many young athletes in my practice. Solana Beach Physical Therapy is located a quarter mile from the beach so many of my patients surf and/ or skateboard. Clearly people with orthopedic injuries vary in their limitations. I use the INDOBOARD for strengthening the lower extremities (legs) and trunk.

Physical therapists often use dynamic balance responses to strengthen patients. Midrange knee control, weight shifting and endurance are also challenged on your device. I have occasionally simplified the INDOBOARD for beginners by having my clients hold onto a doorframe initially. I have used the INDOBOARD with children as young as 5 years old and with clients as old as 60. I do not see a lot of geriatric patients but would caution others to use good guarding techniques and build up slowly with this population.

My favorite client has been my own ten year-old son. He is a competitive soccer player and had knee surgery to remove an over growth of synovial membrane in this knee. He loves his INDOBOARD and has phenomenal midrange knee control and balance. He has returned to soccer, karate and surfing and I attribute his success to your wonderful balance board.
Please feel free to pass this information on to other physical therapists and trainers
